Robert Brown

"Be good to others and they’ll be good to you"

Robert Douglas Brown, born December 7, 1956, in Atlanta Georgia to Mamie and Charles Brown. Moved to Gifford, Florida at age four.

Robert was raised in Vero Beach (Home to Piper Aircraft Co.). He developed a love for airplanes early in life. “I attended school in Gifford, and Vero Beach, Florida; and always traveled back to Atlanta, Georgia every summer to spend time with my Grand Mother, Aunts Uncles, friends and other family members in the Georgia area.”

Robert was always interested in all things mechanical as a kid. “I studied shop, small engine repair, art, and physical studies.” Robert says that best memories are the summers in Georgia, but some of my worst memories are also my best memories. “I learned that those times when my life was nearly extinguished those were my greatest blessings from God.”

Robert’s mother is the greatest influence in his life. “Early in life, she established in me a strong belief in God. My parents and family were always a very important in my life. As an only child, my Aunts were my sisters and my uncles were my brothers. Some years an Aunt or Uncle would go to school in Florida and we would travel back to Atlanta for the summers.”
