Oliver Ross

“Ambitious, resilient, and determined” is how this feature would be described. With a high problem-solving ability and a skill to mediate situations quickly and effectively, this man is a driven individual. His tenacity and great work ethic have pushed him out of poverty and shaped him into a man of brilliance. All that described and more perfectly summarize who Oliver Ross, Sr. is today.

On the 15th of March in 1973, Mr. Ross brought into this world. All throughout his childhood, he can easily reminisce on the many days he would spend in church, 4 to 5 days of the week and sometimes even more. Because of his family’s many trips to service, he’d find himself with more “church clothes” than school clothes. He’d find himself wearing his church clothes to school. This conundrum, though to some might be unfortunate, instead worked in his favor as he realized how good it felt to be stylish on a daily basis. Once entering middle school, Mr. Ross was entrenched into a different environment, helping to further develop his personality and character.

Growing and maturing, Mr. Ross went to and graduated from the International Hair Academy while also winning various school awards like the Juneteenth Hometown Hero Award. Along with, he’s in progress to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Supervision. With future goals of becoming one of the most influential motivational speakers in the world, he looks to enhance his communication and public speaking skills. In his personal life, Mr. Ross enjoys reading new and interesting books, traveling to exciting places, and experiencing restaurants whilst eating new foods. In addition to such, he’s active in the community as a mentor to youth, a provider of necessities to those in need, and an avid giver through holiday-themed giveaways.

For the future, Mr. Ross has goals of developing a diverse business portfolio which includes investments in more real estate, restaurants, and more. His favorite quote, “Do what you have to do so that you can do what you want to do”, from Denzel Washington is one that perfectly describes his life, as in everything he works on he does in excellence. From experience and gained knowledge over his life, Mr. Ross credits integrity, honesty, and loyalty as the most important values in life. When his time in life is over, he’d like to  be known as a “driven individual who beat the odds of coming from poverty to becoming one of the most influential people in the world.”
